“The way that the work developed, filters through these books in an extended period of visualisation… many pieces are made, then presented, exhibited, and appraised through drawing… Often works will go through several stages of making and being exhibited and the books are again used to guide these redrafts. I will rarely exhibit a piece twice in the same form, but rather allow it to continue to evolve after its initial exhibition… They may run through anything up to ten years being refigured, re-exhibited, redrawn.”
